I am currently studying towards my PhD in Regenerative Medicine supervised by Mr Kourosh Saeb-Parsy (Department of Surgery) and Meritxell Huch (Gurdon Institute), University of Cambridge. The project aims to study the efficacy and immunogenicity of adult-derived pancreatic stem cells as a cellular therapy for diabetes. This model of therapy aims to work alongside or replace clinical islet transplantation.
I completed by bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Southampton. Thereafter, I moved to Cambridge and for the past two years have been working as a research assistant in the Department of Surgery, as well as coordinator of the Cambridge Biorepository for Translational Medicine (CBTM).
