Early Career Researchers

Our early career researchers (ECRs) – those team members in the early stages of their research careers – play a pivotal role in the BTRU. Our aim is to provide them with the highest quality research environment and best training opportunities so that we can secure the future of transplantation research.

Our ECRs include research assistants, laboratory technicians, PhD and Master’s students, postdoctoral researchers and clinical fellows.

Under the guidance of our Training Lead, Prof Neil Sheerin, the ECR Committee ensures the voices of their peers are at the heart of the training events and opportunities on offer.
